All partners within our law firm hold the common idea that recruiting and training qualified personnel plays a vital role in our long-term development. Instilling and encouraging a team spirit among our staff is the most important part of cultivating talent.

With this idea at the fore, our firm has established a sound lawyer and employee training system over the past 10 years. Just some of our initiatives include: the preparation and revision of employee handbook, seminars on professional ethics, partner-initiated business training for our junior/senior lawyers, law seminars, case discussion, lectures delivered by law experts, business and staff exchange programs with overseas law firms, our annual assessment on lawyers and awards recognising staff excellence.

All the abovementioned initiatives have been refined, fine-tuned and have ultimately increased both results and client satisfaction. One typical case was the cooperation between one of our Beijing teams and one of our Shanghai teams for a cross-year merger & acquisition case from 2006/2007. They completed due diligence investigations on over 900 branches and 56 subsidiaries of two acquired companies within two months, accomplishing what the associated foreign law firms believed was impossible.
